General Information

Type: Appointed by the Committee Chairman with Committee confirmation vote.

Term: Appointed for one chartered year and can be asked to serve again.

Reports to: The Committee Chairman

Attendance: Required to attend monthly Committee meetings.

 

Duties

  

  • Keep minutes of meetings and send out committee meeting minutes and notices.    
  • Document and update all policy information in the policy book and disk.    
  • Conduct the troop resource survey.  (form is not yet available)  
  • Responsible for telephone tree.  (tentative)  
  • Oversees the troop's FOS campaign.    
  • Maintain a connection to the District Friends of Scouting Family Chairman (vacant position)
  • Offer constructive comments and play an active role at Committee meetings.    
  • Work with fellow Committee members and with the Program people for the good of the troop.
