General Information

Type:  Appointed by the Committee Chairman with Committee conformation vote.

Term:  Appointed for one chartered year and can be asked to serve again.

Reports to:  The Committee Chairman

Attendance:  Required to attend monthly Committee meetings.

Duties

• Arrange for charter review and recharter annually
• Arrange and conduct Back to School Nights
• Organize recruitment activities.
• Maintain Troop Roster.
• Register new Scouts with Council.
• Maintain a connection to the District Membership Chairman. (This position is currently vacant)
• Offer constructive comments and play an active role at Committee meetings.
• Work with fellow Committee members and with the Program people for the good of the troop.
