General Information

Type:  Appointed by the Committee Chairman with Committee confirmation vote.

Term:  Appointed for one chartered year and can be asked to serve again.

Reports to:  Committee Chairperson.

Attendance:  Required to attend monthly Committee meetings.

Duties

• Encourage Scouts and Adults to add training courses to their profile (NYLT, Okpik, etc.)
• Report to the Committee and the Troop with dates and details for district, council, and regional training courses
• Maintain records for every Scout or Leader on achieved training courses.
• Offer constructive comments and play an active role at Committee meetings.
• Work with fellow Committee members and with the Program people for the good of the troop.
