General Information

Type: Appointed by the Committee Chairman with Committee confirmation vote.

Term: Appointed for one chartered year and can be asked to serve again.

Reports to: Committee Chairperson.

Attendance: Required to attend monthly Committee meetings.

Duties

Encourage Scouts and leaders to take training for their level of Scouting (NYLT for youth and Wood Badge for adults, for example)
Maintain advancement records for every Scout and leader in paper and digital copy.
Offer constructive comments and play an active role at Committee meetings.
Work with fellow Committee members and with the Program people for the good of the troop.
